I had booked a luxury coach for a group of 15 family members. We got a death trap whose driver was rude, chewing khat, and had music blasting all night from a cheap boom box. We had several near misses with oncoming traffic and anyone else on the road throughout the journey. The bus broke down in Voi for almost 5 hours and a few lucky passengers were picked up by later buses. Once the 'coach' was underway it literally became a matatu, picking up passengers all the way to Nairobi! Lesson learnt, never again Tahmeed.
