I went on a trip from London to Vienna and it was an absolute nightmare. For context, I am a 20-year-old female student, and I was solo travelling with a transfer on both the outbound and return journ ... I went on a trip from London to Vienna and it was an absolute nightmare. For context, I am a 20-year-old female student, and I was solo travelling with a transfer on both the outbound and return journey. My outbound journey was to stop at Cologne, and was delayed for 3 hours at departure. I was to miss my transfer in Cologne, and no attempt was made to contact me in regards to booking me onto the next available bus, as stated on the help page. I ended up having to look for my own alternate form of transport, which was significantly more expensive than my originally planned ticket, and was stranded overnight in Cologne with no food or water. Mind you, I was later made aware that I was not to receive compensation for my delayed journey as I decided to take it anyway, and rather than refunding my more expensive alternative bus to Vienna, my original ticket was to be refunded, which was appalling enough as is. I thought the nightmare was over, but my journey back proved to be significantly worse. Once again, my bus was delayed, and I was going to miss my transfer, this time in Belgium. Once again, I had to book my own alternative transport, as no attempt was made by Flixbus to rectify their own mistakes. This time, however, I was stranded overnight for a whole 12 hours, and had to organise accommodation myself. I would like to remind you that I am a female student and felt incredibly unsafe and abandoned in an unfamiliar city, and was lucky enough to even find room in a hostel that I had the funds for. My subsequent transfer suffered only a minor delay at departure, but missed the ferry, due to which we were stuck at the port for ages - once again, no opportunity to get food or water, absolutely boiling in the bus. While I did manage to get home (fast-forward 48 hours, for both journeys), it was already nighttime by the time I arrived, so once again I was left incredibly vulnerable. I feel the only fitting description of my experience with Flixbus is Murphy's Law.

Terrible bus service and customer services. Stuck at dover port overnight for 8hrs, no explanation for the delay no refund or discount for the days hoilday i lost .Palmed off by customer services

You get what you pay for - and sometimes you don’t. This company refuses to issue refunds when they cancel their service then after paying for a new ticket I was forced to sit in an allocated seat des ... This company refuses to issue refunds when they cancel their service then after paying for a new ticket I was forced to sit in an allocated seat despite arriving early and also after waiting for all passengers to board to see the bus was full of empty seats, I was told by the driver that I have to return to my designated seat when I tried to move to a more comfortable seat (which remained empty for the entire journey) National express have always provided fantastic customer service and I will stick with them in the future. Or any other service besides Flixbus

The suspension on the FlixBus I was on broke. The driver stopped at a services. We were left there for 5 hours then told they were not sending another bus and to make our own way to destination, keep ... The suspension on the FlixBus I was on broke. It cost £145 for a taxi from the services to the train station and £43 for the train ticket. They are now refusing to give me any refund

Flixbus cancelled my trip with under 24 hours notice so that they could take higher paying last minute customers. Appalling behaviour and they should not exist.

Well the bus pick me from Victoria coach station the journey was ok but not a lot of room to stretch legs and arm rooms as well, there is still rubbish from the last passengers and the toilet was very ... Don't book bus from flixbus, We had booked bus from London to Paris and pickup was from north Greenwich.The bus forgot to pick 15 passenger and went to Paris.Worst customer care,worst service.

FlixBus ticket in Canada, bought through BusBud. FlixBus promised WiFi and air conditioning on board but neither of these were working. When we asked the driver about air conditioning he made a joke about it being too cold outside to need it (it was actually fairly warm) and regarding the WiFi he simply said the company was aware there was an issue. Yet they continue to advertise a service with WiFi despite knowing of this issue. I have requested a partial refund from FlixBus but they have refused to give one.

I was skeptical after reading them but we had an extremely pleasant, comfortable trip to London f ... EXCELLENT SERVICE AND WILL DEFINITELY USE AGAIN. Please do not believe the negative reviews on here. I was skeptical after reading them but we had an extremely pleasant, comfortable trip to London from Chester. The information screen was not in use and I have no clue if the WIFI was working as I used my unlimited mobile data. The driver was very keen to get away and some people standing up chatting annnoyed him, however we were in the front seat and the driver was very chatty, informative and helpful. We were sory to see him go at the change of drivers as the next one was silent. The coach arrived on time and arrived into London about 20 minutes early. There were no major faults with the service and would definitely use them again.

Very uncomfortable journey in a noisy bus that had no leg room and you could literally kiss the back of the seat infront of you. So glad I did not pay extra to reserve seats asking driver was told to ... So glad I did not pay extra to reserve seats asking driver was told to 'sit anywhere'. Will never use again.... lesson learned about cheaper travel... you pay for it!
